Sharing Information

Hello ladies and gents,

I would like to share some information I have recently gathered with you all:

Some clients and I were discussing which treatments they did and didn’t do on a regular basis. When I asked about The 3D Youth Treatment, I was told that they do use it and regularly on their clients who have had botox.

The reason behind this is that these clients should not have non-surgical face lift treatments because the botox works to relax the muscle and the non-surgical works in the completely opposite way by stimulating the muscle and educating it to sit in a different position.

It is obvious that our 3D Youth Treatment is therefore ideal for these clients but it was not something that I had considered until now!

This theory is backed up by the salon botox practioner who says non-surgical face-lifts will shorten the life of the botox treatment.

I followed this theory up at the next salon I visited and she too will not do a non-surgical face-lift treatment on anyone who has botox, or in fact, fillers either. She has actually created a 3D Youth/non surgical face lift "fusion" type treatment for her ladies, which is non surgical face lift around the jaw and our 3D Youth Treatment on the upper part of the face and eyes.

For all you salons out there who do offer botox and fillers and/or the non surgical face lift, are you offering your clients the best possible opportunities for results? Or are you slowly undoing their botox treatment?

Next bit of information is how Chromo-Science helped a lady on our training recently with her pigmentation.

At the start of the week she had a large pigmentation mark on her lower cheek area, which she obviously was not happy with. This lessened throughout the week after receiving our treatments. Her final treatment of the week was the Chromo-Science® Source of Life Treatment. She took home The Fountains of Life Homecare. By the next month her pigmentation mark had all but gone and she is thanking Chromo-Science® and the The Fountains of Life for the biggest part of this.

Whilst Chromo-Science® and The Fountains of Life are not designed to specifically be anti pigmentation, I do have the following theory...

A damaged cell will only produce damaged goods, so, if you re-programme the cell to work in a different and more youthful way as Chromo-Science® does, then it is possible that it re-programmes them to produce cells/goods of a quality that does not manufacture pigmentation.

I have passed this information on to a salon I was recently visiting and they are going to try out this theory on one of their clients who has already had good anti pigmentation results with the Instant Radiance and Collageny C Treatments. I look forward to her feedback and will, of course, share it with you all.

Thanks Rachel!

A big thank you to Rachael, Beauty Retreat, Gloucester who told me about a client who needed facial treatments but was visiting the salon for electrolysis. Rather than overselling to this client, Rachael has introduced her to mini Dermo-Purifying treatments. The client has seen a huge difference in her oily, menopausal skin. Now the client has regular facials (every third visit) and will increase her homecare commitment and salon facials at a time when her electrolysis has finished.

The client is happy both with electrolysis and skin care and is sure that her budget won’t be overstretched.

Rachael is happy because she has addressed more than one problem and found solutions which are affordable to the client and, in the long term, has a new skincare client.

Ultimately, the client will not look elsewhere for advice.

Plan Ahead

Wednesday, 5 November 2008 11:16 by Collin

How about incorporating other “beautifying” treatments with the ultimate party facial “The Refiner Pore Treatment”. An eyelash tint may be a great option as the Dermo-Purifying Mask is on for 15 minutes anyway.

Plan ahead for the new year business. Make sure your clients know about your January/February promotions. Pop them in the post with a Christmas card. A January voucher may also be a nice touch!
