I was recently asked by one of our stockists if the new Whitevidence Youth and Lightening treatment was suitable for use during pregnancy.
My initial thought and quick response was "yes of course", my thought pattern was this, often during pregnancy the skin changes dramatically due to hormonal inbalaneces / changes. The changes will be unique to each individual, some experience varying degrees of skin dryness, others find their skin becomes dull and lack lustre (this could happen during or after the pregnancy), some see skin congestion and others may experience brown pigmentation in varying degrees or even the "mask of pregnancy".
The new treatment will help all of the above, it then dawned on me that the person in question is an experienced industry therapist and has used Collin in her business for well over 5 years, so their must be reason for this particluar question.
It turned out that another supplier of the salon suggested not to use lactic acid during pregnancy.
I in turn posed the same question to Dr Isabelle Volle, skin biologist at Collin Resultime.
Dr Volle sees no reason why lactic acid should not be used topically on the face and neck during pregnancy as its main effect is to remove superficial layers of the epidermis and with it take away melanin filled cells and dull, dead cells.
Therefor in the opinion of Collin Resultime the Whitevidence Youth and Lightening Treatment is safe to use and will deliver exceptional results to the skin, during pregnancy and after the birth of your baby.
