The Salon Treatment:

A comprehensive after wax treatment combining more than 10% anti-regrowth ingredients to help delay the regrowth and reduce the density of unwanted hair.

Continue the treatment at home with Propil Expert Post Depilation Cream.

An intensive formula containing high concentrations of anti-regrowth ingredients Capislow® and Philinhib® help reduce hair growth density whilst Sepicalm® and botanical oils work to soothe, protect and soften skin sensitised by hair removal.

Realistically, on all natural forms of hair growth, you may rid the area of hair in 8-12 months. The darker and denser the hair, the longer it takes.

How Propil works:

When the hair is in the primary stage of hair growth (anagen), it has a blood supply and is attached to the base of the follicle. It is at anagen that you can successfully treat the hair with Propil.

When you remove the hair (with wax, threading, plucking), you leave the growing elements of the hair exposed (hair germ cells). When the Propil Serum is applied, it attacks the hair germ cell.

From here the follicle must reproduce the growing elements before it can produce a new hair. This will slow down the rate of regrowth. As this action is repeated, the follicle will eventually give up reproducing the growing elements and then the follicle will be hair free.

This said, there are two further stages of hair growth – telogen and catogen – Propil will not be successful when the hair is in these stages as the hair disattaches from the base of the follicle and migrates to the surface and eventually drops out.

Therefore you have a 1 in 3 chance of each hair being effectively treated with Propil (in anagen stage).
